The worksheet works entirely from the figures you enter about your own site and your own list. Longtailo holds no keyword database and no ranking data of its own, so there is nothing here for it to be wrong about.

Your numbers

$384: the figures shown are a worked example on a small site's own numbers, not data we hold about anybody's keywords.

The Longtailo workspace, Scored lists and position logs, showing one saved shortlist for Fernbrook Studio: the seven figures entered (monthly searches, click share, conversion rate, value per conversion, hours to write, cost per hour, months to rank) beside the eight the sheet works out from them, including what the keyword is worth a month, what the page costs to write and the month it pays for itself.
What Pro kept: one scored keyword, its inputs and its worked outputs, filed against the page and the keyword it belongs to.

Low competition keywords are worth finding because they are the only ones a small site can actually win, but competition on its own does not tell you which to write. A query with almost no competition and no buyers behind it costs you a week and returns nothing. This worksheet takes the candidate list you already have, from Search Console, a keyword planner or any tool's export, and scores each row on your own figures: the searches you were given, the share you could take at a position you can realistically hold, your conversion rate and what a conversion is worth. It ranks them by money a month, and it will tell you plainly when the answer is that none of them are worth it.

What people ask before they use Low competition keywords

Does this find keywords for me?

No. You bring the candidates; the worksheet does the judging. Longtailo holds no keyword database, which is exactly why it can score a list from any source without pretending its own numbers are better.

Where do I get the search volumes to put in?

Google Search Console for queries you already show for, Keyword Planner for anything else, or the export from whatever tool you use. Any source is fine as long as you use the same one across the list, because the ranking of your candidates matters more than the absolute figures.

What click share should I enter?

Whatever you believe you can hold, and be pessimistic. If you are unsure, put in the share you get today on a page that already ranks: your own data beats any published curve, and the worksheet is built around that.

What if I have no conversion rate yet?

Enter the one you would need for the page to be worth writing, and read the answer backwards: the worksheet then tells you what has to be true for this keyword to pay, which is a more useful question than what it is worth today.
